So, I think I might be needing a new exhaust system...

This scared the shit out of me when I turned on the car this morning. Apparently, the exhaust was damaged at the way back, and fell loose overnight or something (just a theory), and now the car sounds like a motherfucking steoroid pumped riceburner.

I must admit that it's kind of fun sometimes, but I seriously get a headache driving with this.

I have a tiny hole in the exhaust on the golf and it makes it sound really shitty, but it doesn't require inspection for another year so I kinda have all the time in the world to fix it

That sounds really awesome, but I can understand if it's bad inside. My cousin's truck has a similar issue (along with a stripped interior) and it almost makes me deaf every time I jump in there.

Try running a rotary with open (uncapped) headers. Too loud for ANYTHING to pick up. I've tried.

i used to have a f350 that put a 480 (cu in) in and the egsos roted away right bellow the cab. it would make the ground shake... i loved it. put i couldnt afford it so it went bye bye. at the local drag track (firebired in idaho) its amazing the sounds you here. exsept when your boss starts his track car (a 544 ci blown poninac firebird) inside the fucking trailer and you go deff for most of the day...
