• Any way to uninstall a bad repo from cydia WITHOUT SSH?
    3 replies, posted
I jailbroke\unlocked my friends iPhone today, I fucked up by trying to get yellowsn0w by mistake even though blacksn0w already installed, to top it off, I accidentally did yell0wsnow instead of yellowsn0w, so now each time he launches Cydia it gives him an error about the repo. I've googled it, but the only way seems to be to go in via SSH and get rid of it, but he wants to do it himself if possible, and has no clue about computers at all. So is there a way to remove it without going in via SSH, or will he just have to wait until I see him next?
whats wrong with SSH'ing it anyway?
He wants to do it himself and has next to no clue what he'd be doing.
Gotcha. Tell him to stop being so awkward and tell him you'll do it. It's not really that hard to download WinSCP and login with the default username and password then edit whatever files as lon as you have basic computer knowledge anyway. But to answer your question, if you're not finding the answer on google, then I doubt it's possible because that sounds like a mistake a lot of people would make.
