Turned into a too much of a ''save teh wurld'' game in the end.
Get it, I played through it and liked it quite a bit. It's a bit hard, and I got stuck on some parts for a while, it was a good challenge (at least for me.)
Better than Bioshock 2 Atleast and well worth the money!

Ignore the optimal settings. The game is well-optimized. Those optimal settings are to run the game on the highest possible settings with like 32xAA and shit.

I played vanilla Fallout 3 and I fucking loved it, so the GOTY edition (which I believe includes all of the dlc/addons) would be pretty awesome.
Metro2033 seems pretty awesome as well though.

Metro 2033 - It's shorter but packs a punch and leaves a hole for the rest of your gaming life.
