Hello, TS
So yesterday I was just hanging out on Chrome, checking every now and then to see if Facepunch was up, etc. But today after I CHANGED NOTHING TO CHROME, whenever I opened a new tab or Chrome itself and clicked a link or entered a URL or even clicked a bookmark in my bar, nothing would happen. I'd sit there for about five minutes before Chrome even STARTS to run loading process. After a new tab gets running it works just fine but it get annoying when you want to open new tabs.
Also, even the thing with the eight most-visited sites takes about three minutes to load. PLEASE HELP!
Also, I'm running Windows XP SP2

Sorry to tell you this but Chrome sux. I work for google and even I dont use it :) It also collects information about you and then sends it to google. I wont help you with your problem but I would recommend you to get Opera.

OP, I think Chrome has a problem initializing a new process (which it does for every new tab). Don't know a solution to that though.
So atleast I'm not the only one. I can't get facepunch to load within the normal 1 minute. It takes 3-5...
Had the same issue as well. Only affected facepunch though, I had to wait a bit the refresh the page to get it working again, I just gave up and switched back to firefox.

Yeah, it was only facepunch for me. I just ended up using IE 9 for a bit and it loaded fine.

This happened to me too. Never found a fix for it (on Windows)...
