• Sky Router Issue

I changed my routers security to WEP for a moment to connect my DS. When I changed it back to WPA-PSK wifi devices like my iPhone or laptop would reject the password, the default pre-assigned password that hadn't been changed. I tried restarting the router and when that didn't work I tried resetting to factory defaults. Now the router won't connect at all, stating either LCP is down or LCP is allowed to come up. All lights are green. Help. [editline]04:39PM[/editline] Herp derp herp. The phone cable was disconnected. :downs: Still, LAN cable works fine but Wi-Fi connections continue to claim the password is invalid?
LCP = link control protocol, basically the protocol that determines how the point to point protocol (ppp) should be configured for the connection. The fact you reset your router to factory defaults suggests that either you've made changes to some of the more in-depth settings such as mtu, etc which no longer match up to skys dslams, or there is a problem at skys end. I think you'll need to phone your isp on this one. Good luck, I heard sky tech support don't know their arse from their elbow.

Nope. [editline]05:07PM[/editline] Also I seem to be having problems connecting to FP via my Internet. It only loads without problems with 3G. All other sites work fine.

MacBook Pro, Dell Laptop, iPhone, PS3, anything with WiFi that supports WPA-PSK really. All claim the passphrase is invalid. [editline]06:36PM[/editline] Problem solved.
