Police were called to the luxury Shangri-La Hotel on Friday after the actor, currently in Vancouver shooting the superhero flick Deadpool, was reportedly involved in an altercation with a local paparazzo photographer in the parking lot just before he was hit by a car.

Reynolds hasn’t spoken directly about the incident, but told a CBC producer over Twitter that he’d call them if they “Put Beachcombers back on the air.”
It's Deadpool man.
You can literally put anyone in the suit and have Ryan Reynolds do a voice-over and you couldn't tell.

Most probably they'll do that in the end regardless.
if you guys read the article it says he wasn't injured, so

they probably could just have his stunt double do the shots and he voices it over later
He came into my work the other day, really cool guy to talk too

I was thinking "marketing stunt" the second I saw that title.
Glad to see he at least wasn't hurt.

Do nothing get paid, what's so bad about it.
Do nothing get paid, what's so bad about it.
Heaven forbid this man might love what he's doing and enjoy it enough to really give a shit.
Do nothing get paid, what's so bad about it.
He actually has really wanted to play Deadpool. Like, that's a role he has been wanting to play for a long time. And not that thing in Wolverine: Origins.

Oh hey that was nice, so, what about Sally---WHAT?
Can you be any more casual about something like that? :v:
I really hope this Reynolds deadpool makes fun of that Reynolds deadpool
Well, they already kinda did in that April fools rating video they did. I wouldn't be surprised.

If I remember correctly they directly reference Origins as a piece of shit in the leaked script from a while back.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was one of the Paparazzi that hit him, those guys can be cunts.

Did he come in costume? And why was he there?
Do nothing get paid, what's so bad about it.
Yes having to be physically fit, having to be able to remember all these lines and parts of the script, having to work more then 40+hours a week and various other things is doing "nothing."

If you have a workout plan that involves nothing and having a body like Ryan then please do share.
Have you ever been in any sort of production where you weren't 8 years old and/or a non-speaking part? I did theatre all of high school with several lead roles and memorizing lines, cues, positioning, and occasional improv is no easy task. I reiterate that it was high school. This guy is a internationally famous professional.
Every actor small or big deserves a lot more credit than you're giving them.

juggling a grueling workout routine with any sort of line memorization for a deadline is fucking hell, you clearly have no experience with this kind of thing so i dont know why you're commenting on it.
Sure, given the workout necessary for the role along with the rest, yes it's probably quite a lot of work, but then you look at the pay-cheque along with it

Yeah actors get paid a lot of money but it's not an effortless skill or profession like you're making it out to be.

It is quite a lot of work.
Have you ever been in a costume that is very warm, and doesn't come off you for anywhere from 8-12 hours a day? And while you're doing that had to act believably under the strain of a camera and a crew of 30-70 odd people standing around somewhere out of sight, reciting lines and moving around on cue in sync with a camera team of 2-3 people, possibly a dolly team of an additional 2 people? Because in my experience being on set working on films, that's what a lot of actors go through. They're in uncomfortable positions doing a fair bit of mental and emotional work. Sometimes the job is easy, but sometimes the job is hard. Even for the paycheck, sometimes an actor can be relocated to a moving circus over the course of 6 months.
I think they're overpaid to be honest, but they do a lot of work, and a lot more work than you're giving them credit for.
holy shit once again, sometimes it is a lot of work, but i REALLY depends on the role
I feel bad that he was in Green Lantern. Now it's his time to shine.. and its going to be great
holy shit once again, sometimes it is a lot of work, but i REALLY depends on the role
it's almost always a lot of work
I have a lot of experience to back this up.
