Zero is a good series, but incredibly difficult even compared to X. I had Z3 on GBA, was a good title overall
Fantastic, fantastic game. Probably my favorite GBA title.
Hopefully more of the Zero series is added in the future. The whole series is great, but 1 definitely reeks of 'first title experimentation' with extreme difficulty even compared to its sequels, a leveling system for weapons that mostly gets ditched in later games, and other factors.
So it is true...

I would buy a wiiu just for Megaman Legends 3. It's cool they are supporting spinoffs of the main megaman games.
I really hope they use the more sound-enhanced version from the DS collection. The game sounded a million times better, the instrument and voice samples weren't nearly as compressed.
(And I hope they do the same for the rest of them if they ever release those, as well, which I hope they do)

It's not likely. The Wii U has support for DS on the Virtual Console, but Capcom would be far more likely to release the GBA versions since that's multiple sales instead of one collection.

Not to mention Capcom would probably never put in the effort to separate the individual games for sale from the collection, and would rather just put the GBA versions up. Speaking bluntly here, the Zero Collection on DS did nothing with the bottom screen besides showing artwork of characters during cutscenes, so that isn't much of an issue, but it's all about effort versus profit for old games when it comes to Capcom.
It's actually quite true since Nintendo has been giving Megaman a bigger spotlight in their biggest game more than other characters and comparing it with Capcom's last attempt to promote megaman which was this one

I tried Zero once, couldn't even get past the first stage. Damn I suck.

Having Bad Boxart Megaman in Street Fighter X Tekken was actually a choice by Inafune as a joke character. It just came at a very unfortunate timing where he grew tired of Capcom's crap less than a year after the decision, which was around the time that SFxT was released.
