Sandy Dees, of Greenville Hospital System, said that the worker was listed in critical but stable condition after undergoing the reattachment surgery. BMW officials said that the worker was operating a forklift-like machine when his arm, which was outside the machine's safety cage, was hit by a beam and severed between his elbow and wrist. Dees said that the man, whose identity is being withheld, is showing continued improvement. She said that the man's family is thanking the community for its outpouring of support.[/release] Someone should give him a hand for his bravery.
Quick, one hand claps!
Should have given him one of the robot arms off the floor
Sounds like she could have used a hand in that situation.
I've been to that factory -- twice. Strange, they seemed very safe.
I hope that wasn't his fapping hand.
But then it will feel like someone else's hand.
I would be so freaked out about my arm falling off to the smallest things after that. "Hey man high five!" "AHHHHH FUCK NO!"
so wait, does his arm work again?

When his family got the news, I bet they were completely disarmed. :frown:

oh fuck someone should have given him a hand with that forklift job
I was visiting my grandpa in Spartanburg and we visited that plant. It has a rather cool test track thing for potential buyers.
I just can't grasp how this happened.
I love how losing an arm is a temporary setback, not something that demands a change of lifestyle. Sure his arm will act retarded and it most likely won't ever be 100% functional, but damn this is awesome.

They Did have the X SUV series too with an offroad/rock track.
I hope that wasn't his fapping hand.
He has a family, in fact it says it up there. So he probably doesn't need to fap. He gets his kids to do it for him.
Hand pun.
