James tells Sports Illustrated, that he's decided to go home. It's a move that would have seemed unfathomable four years ago, after the venomous fallout that followed his decision to leave Cleveland for the Miami Heat.
Seems like a bad idea. People here were damned pissed when he left. I wonder if he'll move back into his house - It's a short drive down the road from where I live.
As a Pacers fan, fuck yes! The Heat reign on the East is over.
I saw this a few days ago, and while I don't really care about basketball at all, it is interesting that it is true. Going to guess a webmaster probably got his ass reamed
From Dwyane Wade's game and health falling off this much in a single season, the Spurs having an easy ride back to the finals and beating the Heat, and the Cavaliers stockpiling on assets and 1st round picks, I didn't see any of this shit coming
Just hold on, we're going home.
so what are the Cavs' chances of winning a title this year now that LeBron's back?
so what are the Cavs' chances of winning a title this year now that LeBron's back?
I would say they'll be a force to be reckoned with in a season or two. I know it's Lebron that Cleveland is dealing with, but they'll still go through some growing pains with their new head coach. With Lebron, they'll have a pretty good starting five, but their bench would still be pretty mediocre so Lebron will be in a similar situation like he was earlier in his career until the management fixes that. I also remember reading in his letter that he mentioned that he looked forward to mentoring Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson so maybe that means Andrew Wiggins will sent in a trade for Kevin Love sometime soon.
Fucking finally took him long enough to say this lol, but still happy that this means that the East could possibly have more competition now but still I don't care as long as Timmy,Pop and the Spurs get rings. [editline]12th July 2014[/editline] Also happy to see those rich pricks always booing and leaving when the Heat don't play up to par with their expectations atleast now the fans in the upper levels can actually be heard more now.
N'awww.

I wonder how much Cleveland will grow after the amount of people that bandwagon'd into Miami Heat
As a Pacers fan, fuck yes! The Heat reign on the East is over.
We don't need LeBron James, the Miami Heat can't be beat. You'll all taste defeat, and our victory will surely be sweet.
Well this probably means Bosh to Rockets, Parsons possibly staying, Lin to Philly to clear up space for Bosh. [editline]12th July 2014[/editline] Also goddamit Melo now that Lebron said which team he's going to, make a goddamn decision already.

[editline]12th July 2014[/editline] Also goddamit Melo now that Lebron said which team he's going to, make a goddamn decision already.
I'm really hoping that the Rockets don't match the Mavericks offer sheet because they'll be mad stacked if they manage to keep Parsons and sign Bosh. The Rockets already own the Warriors number so the last thing I want is them matching up in the playoffs with a stacked roster. Geez, I don't remember the last time one player froze the market like Lebron has this past week.
Well Woj reported that the Rockets are already trying to quickly secure a deal with Bosh and will match the Mavs but who knows, its gonna be an interesting offseason now.
What's happening to Wade?
I dunno but IMO He should retire, he did not play well during the Finals but who knows maybe he'll come back with a vengeance like Ginobili but I doubt it though.
What's happening to Wade?
Not sure, but he's probably the biggest loser in all of this. Bosh has a max contract waiting for him in Houston and Lebron has his homecoming in Cleveland while Wade lost $41 million due to opting out of his contract. I don't know what his plans are, but he's definitely not winning another ring in Miami. Even if he is washed up, maybe Pat Riley will pay him big money out of respect like the Lakers did with Kobe.
This is one of the reasons why I don't follow sports. It's so arbitrary. Are you supposed to be a fan of the team, as in the brand name? Like getting shirts with Chicago Bulls on it or coffee mugs with Seattle Seahawks on it? Just following the 'team' regardless of the roster changes? Or are you supposed to be a fan of the players themselves? Players that are completely subject to change because they get traded, they get old, they get injured, they go on losing streaks, they retire. And if you're supposed to be a fan of the players, wouldn't it just make sense to be fan of the best team and watch them steam roll all the other crappy teams?
All I know is that I literally could turn any direction without seeing Jame's fucking face in front of me today at work. It was on every since channel all day long. Hell I even turned the channel to CNN and it was being reported there too.

Well Woj just said that Lin is getting ready to go to the Lakers.
Now for Melo to go to the Bulls.

I can still be a fan of players from the teams that I support while still following other individual players in different teams because I can appreciate their craft within the respective sports that they play.
