Microsoft has revealed that all games it publishes will now be part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
On the Windows blog (spotted by VideoGamer), corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi writes, "every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store."
Halo 6 for PC.
yeah but we have to deal with yet another fucking storefront and launcher
get over yourselves and get your shit on steam already

I mean I personally have gain in that my entire library is already on Steam so I'd like to keep it that way but
Objectively, I'd rather not keep feeding what's essentially a monopoly on PC gaming

so far basically every other attempt to make a new storefront has been awful to use or not as successful, people need to step their game up
Halo 3 anaversery on pc confirmed
Makes me wonder if they'll do anything with Halo 3, considering it's already on the MCC.

You ah.... you mean the one that's built into Windows 10 as an OS?
The one you were ~supposed~ to upgrade to, being all around better than any before it?
that said, that's probably the most arrogant thing you could put out about it

I did upgrade to Windows 10, I don't mind it at all but I bought Quantum Break off the windows store and god damn it was the most frustrating thing. I couldn't even install it for a day because I had to switch the install directory to a different drive, and the changes wouldn't take until I restarted it and redid it about 3 or 4 times. I'm not exactly sold on it considering how stupidly annoying it was just to get into a game.

Not for a while at least, MCC just bumped Halo 3 up to 1080p and added AA I believe.

origin is a friendlier, better to use, smarter system and noone wants to put their games on it

And bumped the fps from 30 to 60. Plus I think they fixed up the lighting a bit? Not too sure on that though.

As an EA launcher, Origin's pretty great.
You can even configure it to automatically exit once your game closes, so as long as I'm not using it, it's only taking up a small amount of extra disk space (which I've got no shortage of at the moment).

Yes, all MCC games run at 60fps. If the lighting got 'fixed', it's because the game was transferred over to ODST's engine which has better lighting.
Thankfully, we get Halo Online from that since HO runs off of the MCC ODST engine.

Not to mention customer service that is actually competent.

EA/Origin customer service is pretty amazing compared to most companies.
Once I got disconnected from a chat with support and they called the number attached to my account to continue working on the issue I was having.

I remember that during the Titanfall Closed Beta, if you asked for a beta key they just gave you one.
Origin was practically spyware at first and didn't have nearly enough titles at launch to really justify using it unless you really wanted to play shitty EA games. It might be objectively better than Steam in every regard other than titles available nowadays, but it's too late to undo the damage.
If you're looking for Steam alternatives, GoG and GoG Galaxy are great. But it faces the same problem of a lack of triple A titles available.

Getting voted "Worst Company in America" ended up being the best thing that ever happened to them
I just want the original Halo 2 and Halo 3 on PC. I couldn't care about the anime known as "Halo 6".
origin is a friendlier, better to use, smarter system and noone wants to put their games on it
Origin has the problem of being unable to gift games, and that's a massive oversight. I wanted to buy my friend BF4 since it was $5 but you know what, I would've had to get on his account or PC and enter my card information, and I don't want to deal with that when I could just click "gift" instead.

So buy it.
There's nothing stopping you from playing it assuming you're on Vista or above. There's even a mod to reinstate multiplayer. The problem is that nobody plays it minus a server or two.
I would like it being on Steam but it is better then not getting them at all.
Now if only the Windows store wasnt a piece of shit and they had decent launches for PC.

I'd rather not. The windows store fails to function for me and I have never found a fix no matter what I've tried. I can browse it but can't download a single thing
Now just put all previous Xbox games on PC, I just want to play Brute Force and Need for speed underground.
Oh man, in just about 6 to 7 years when they make a new Halo collection for when the current trilogy is over we'll finally be able to play Halo 3 to Halo 6 on PC
Now just put all previous Xbox games on PC, I just want to play Brute Force and Need for speed underground.
Uhm, NFSU is on pc. :v:

Need for speed Underground is on PC though
Aww ninjad

Origin isn't bad and many people use it for battlefield
Cool, now I don't have to buy an Xbox One!
I just want the original Halo 2 and Halo 3 on PC. I couldn't care about the anime known as "Halo 6".
halo 2 has been on pc for nearly a decade now
I always said that Microsoft would be the first of the three to pull out of the console race and integrate their stuff into Windows. Back to Nintendo vs. Sony, then.
