My CPU is a Intel Q6600 Quad, OC'ed to 2.8 with stock cooler.
According to core temp it idles between 45-55 celcius.
Is this normal, or high? As far as I remember its always been that type of temp, for the years that I've had it.
I would say it is normal. Not the best but it isnt going to cause alot of problems.
Cheers, what sort of temperatures should worry me while its load is increased when gaming for example?

If you really want to you can change your heat sink to something that is not stock. But that is another thread
