Luke Somers, a US citizen, was captured by the group in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, in September 2013. The Arabian Peninsula wing of al-Qaeda (AQAP) has now warned that it will kill Mr Somers if its demands are not met. In a three-minute introduction, local al-Qaeda official Nasser bin Ali al-Ansi describes alleged crimes committed by the US against the Muslim world. He says that the US is "aware" of the group's demands that if they do not comply in three days, "the American hostage held by us will meet his inevitable fate"
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/543507/Al-Qaeda-threaten-British-born-photojournalist-Luke-Somers-video :(
AQAP and AQ organizations just want to be relevant again, especially after the IS has taken most of the spotlight. Its unfortunate that that means they have to kill people to get back in the spotlight.
No al-Qaeda, you're better than this.
No al-Qaeda, you're better than this.
You have to be kidding me. These people aren't known for their mercy.
No al-Qaeda, you're better than this.
they flew two planes into the wtc and bombed places so huh
Just when I was starting to like them
No al-Qaeda, you're better than this.
Agreed. If they were truly the barbaric scum that they are they'd had immediately killed him.
No al-Qaeda, you're better than this.
Just because they disagreed with ISIS on some points (and later joined them) doesn't mean anything. You know these are the guys behind 9/11 right.
I don't know why they bother executing random journalists who more than likely have nothing to do with the actions of the government when they know they're never going to meet their demands. All it does is give more people a reason to hate their causes.
