I have been using the firefox [URL="http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/webmail-notifier/"]webmail notifier [/URL]for a long time and I really liked it. Because of all the hacks and password leaks I decided to move all my passwords into lastpass and disable the built-in firefox password manager. Webmail notifier relies on the built-in password manager and lastpass and webmail notifier don't go together.
So, are there any alternatives that are secure and cross-platform? I want to use it on linux too. It doesn't have to be a firefox add-on, as long as it's more convenient than checking my mail manually.
Why not just take password out of Lastpass, save it in Firefox and only have that password saved in the password manager?
