ok so heres the problem, my Girlfriends laptop cant get on the internet it has a full connection but whenever she starts IE it says cannot display this page on everything we put in. many of you will probly say use FF or chrome well we tryed chrome but it says an error everytime we try to install it. we tryed microsofts malware remover thing that didnt work so now were going to try cccleaner and spybot search and destoy. so is there anyway to fix this. im suggesting reformatting soon. she has a latitude c600, Pentium 3, 512 RAM, and 20gb harddrive. thanks in advance.

Well, it is USB i assume. If it is that may be the prob. the USB may be to slow for the wireless receiver!

Yeah PCI, Well I had one in my ol' P3 Laptop. I wouldn't connect either. They are more than likely to powerful for the P3.

Mark6789, first go to Start > Run and type cmd. Try typing ipconfig /flushdns and see if you can access the internet. If that doesn't work then in the command prompt type ipconfig /all and post what it says.
