Can't wait, it looks great so far! Adding race mode back into a home-console Sonic game double sold me.

I wish there was something more like Generations. Personally, I don't like all the powers.
Generations was great in where you could do stages as Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic. I loved playing both characters a whole lot, and I really enjoy trying to get good times.
I wish they'd do something like that again. I simply like getting to the end as fast as possible. I never liked the ideas of powers, even in Generations.
No doubt though Sonic games have been improving a lot since Colors (hell, Unleashed daytime courses weren't too bad at all!). I'm eager to see what's next!
Wait til sammy gets a load of thi-... it looks promising enough to be a good game. Well shit looks like sammy won 1 battle this day...
As someone who played this at E3, I found it a bit underwhelming. The controls aren't there, as is usually the case with Sonic these days.
