I've had a go and it just doesn't feel like the original brainbread to me, It feels really weak.
Feels like i'm playing an early build of a gmod mod, The RPG elements are also extremely unnecessary and pointless and the zombies just keep spawning at your feet you get stuck while walking.
Hopefully they improve the game and make it more like the original brainbread/zombiepanic.

Agreed. I started up the first map and I could only pick up 2 of the 6 guns in spawn because they were overleveled for me. Not that it mattered because the beretta was so ridiculous overpowered I didn't need anything else
The zombie animations seem funky. I like the idea of the bandits. Runners I'm a bit mixed about because it goes against the classic idea of brainbread being just slaughter the shit out of things and get overwhelmed by 100's instead of faster ones. The slide is really weird and didn't seem necessary. Speaking of unnecessary: adding a deathmatch gamemode. I'm not really sure why that's something that was included before more of the linear maps.
Never got to see Fred so I can't really judge that. Overall calling it Brainbread 2 didn't feel right, but I can appreciate the work the team puts into this.
