TBH I wouldn't be surprised if FBR's success slows down UT4's development as well (as if it isn't slow enough already).
A shame, Paragon is actually fairly good nowadays and their willingness to experiment new things with it was cool.

The much bigger takeaway than anything about paragon is that Epic diverted resources both from another game entirely as well as from the team developing the original intent of the game to jump on a fad as quickly as possible. I'm not exactly betting on them keeping UT on track with that kind of development chaos going on

I forgot the new UT existed until I read this post.
I'll be sad if they just shut down paragon's servers at some point. Not that I particularly like it, but the article spells out pretty bad omens for it, and it serves as another reminder that we're both in an age where we have plenty of resources and people dedicated to archiving games, and yet we'll probably leave behind the most games future generations will never experience

TBH I forget it exists too. I think I've had it for maybe 2 years and it has gotten a few new completed maps and it's still just DM and TDM
