Yeah, the monitor will cost at least $110 and the OS will cost $100. That's $190 for a gaming computer.
You might be able to snag a decent CRT monitor or something off of say.. Craigslist or such... But the OS can cost a pretty penny. Unless you're a college student, does Microsoft still do that Windows 7 for 40 bucks if you're a student or whatever it was?

I tried. It all comes down to 375 USD.
With an OS and screen on that, it's simply not possible.
And even if you can get a screen and OS cheaply, I'd still recommend you to wait until you have more money. Because this build is pretty much just a waste of money. (Fine for GMod and other Source games, though).
OP double that budget and we'll talk
Because with a budget of $400 we cant do anything. Unless maybe you want a pentium 4 478?
