I've been considering a pretty large upgrade to this computer but I'm not even sure an upgrade is the best idea, since this computer is starting to fall pretty behind and it's a prebuilt (that I received for Christmas, no choice here, it is currently the best computer I have available). It's a Compaq and I'm not sure if upgrading it or just getting something completely new would be better. In the case of getting something new, I could stretch my budget to maybe £500 but this would take some time and component prices may have changed since then. I just need something that will last me for a significant amount of time.
