oh wow
job well done.
respect virus creators.
they're here for your safety.
That lazy eye makes the mugshot even funnier, he looks scared shitless.
A friend of mine got this virus a couple of weeks ago. He panicked when his computer booted up to a white screen with an fbi logo in the middle, asking him to pay up through paypal or go to jail.

he will eventually
A friend got a similar virus a few years back; luckily it was a trashy laptop that had seen more years than it should have, so nothing of value was lost.
(It checked for torrents)
My dad had this virus he really has no shame.
Looked like this

Huh, I guess viruses aren't so volatile after all.
Ahahah I got this same ransomware last year and my dad was flipping shit at me because it said I looked at CP
I feel bad for giggling in his face
I had a dream I accidentally somehow viewed CP on my computer and the Firefox Police came over and ripped our chimney apart for some reason so I cancelled firefox and the floor disappeared and there was a horrible giant creature living underneath with five human heads

was it a dinosaur and did it eat you
We actually got this virus too on our home computer. It's a piece of shit, because it disables regular boot as well as safe mode. The only way you can get rid of it is if you use Windows's command prompt and manually do a system restore (or a virus scan via command prompt).
That said though it's a hilarious virus. It asks for like $300 in some cases, and, of course, wiring the money over doesn't free up your computer.

Also,
Riley "voluntarily brought his computer to the station and, following a search, several inappropriate messages and photos of underage girls were recovered," Perok said.
After detectives identified one of the girls as a 13-year-old from Minnesota, officers served a search warrant at Riley's home and took computers and other electronics, according to Perok.
Riley, 21, of 2806 Woodmark Dr. #201, was arrested July 23 and charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, one count of using a communication device to solicit certain offenses involving children, and one count of indecent liberties with a minor.
He pretty much fucked himself over by thinking the FBI actually needed him to pay money. But, he had CP on his computer anyway. So, eh :v:.
I've had this kind of virus before, and I actually just fixed my dad's computer of this virus yesterday. It was really weird because when he got it, it wasn't being picked up on a fully-updated malwarebyte scan. I was able to go in and just delete it directly from the folder it was sitting in.
what shit are you smoking
... and do you have any of it left?

Really? That's odd. After a system restore, my Malwarebytes quarantined and deleted this very quickly.

Yeah, I ran a full scan like three times in safe mode and it came up with nothing. I ran msconfig and sure enough, I was able to disable it and locate the folder it was in.
My brother in law got this virus too, freaking hilarious.

Virus's used to have a point or were just a joke like, changing your background, making sounds
now most of them are based around stealing money from idiots by telling them to "Pay through paypal" etc or deleting the entire system etc
making someone pay you through paypal has to be the most funny thing I've seen, only the most gullible...

I dont know why, but I thought this was going to say 'Man Turns Himself Inside out'

I remember an interview with genuine 'nigerian prince' scam artists, they intentionally make their letters horribly obvious so the only people who reply are extremely gullible dinks
Oh wow this virus is still making rounds I see.
Remember it being on the news here a couple years ago because store computers were getting infected with it and the store owners were complaining to the police(that the virus disguised itself as) a fuck ton.

I guess it's smartest that way, as the dumb ones will never ever know how to fix the scam they just fell for

This is true, in fact, I got this email today.

I keep getting emails like this too. They're hilarious because they say I've been charged $11000 but that's impossible because I've never seen that much money in my life. I'm just a poor student who's mooching off his parents

I'm currently in the process of removing it from a computer this very moment. It seems to be making a comeback.

you can get rid of it by pressing your powerbutton and when it goes to force close down just cancle it and it goes away. the virus is seti0.exe in appdata/local it encrypts files so a factory reset is needed for everything to be normal
