I don't know what you even consider to be end game players. You still make shit money off heists, and if you're not with a group that isn't full of complete idiots the biggest source of making money in the game is a frustrating grind.
In reality, what they're supporting is people that are going to be buying Shark cards. But I think the game is just losing its grasp on the PC market due to the fact that there is so many shitty hackers on. Truth be told, I wouldn't mind hackers if they werent complete dicks with the shit. Like going around in an invincible insurgent being miserable fucks.

GTA Online is such a fucking let down especially after how long the wait for it was.
GTA Online is fun when you're dicking around with friends in a private lobby crashing planes in to one another and causing mayhem. But the entire 'social' aspect is ruined, at least on PC since hackers run rampant. I tried to play in an open lobby the other day, just flying a small GA plane over the open ocean with no players around. Suddenly I get shotdown by some hacker.
GTA Online is in a horribly sad state on PC, I was hoping for so much more than it actually is.
The only multiplayer DLC i would love is something that gave you more control over the world. Imagine something like Zeus from ArmA 3 in GTA Online where you have someone who can change the weather on the get-go, spawn vehicles, spawn cops/military units, set wanted level and so on.
It seems GTA Online is pretty limited to a core of players who started playing it months ago, as someone who began at level 1 again i find it seriously hard to gain levels but also to keep things fun because i fucking hate how 99% is locked behind a level wall. Oh you want more armor on your car? Fuck you, grind some more because you need to be level 30 or something.
