Did they fix the fucked balance
Did they fix the fucked balance
You mean the game had a balance before? I thought it always was soul-tearing difficult with little to nothing to do to help you progress other than pray the Old Gods and the New to not get completely wiped on the next fucking dungeon?
Did they fix the fucked balance
As far as I read it in the negative reviews, the devs seem to look at guides and strategies made by other players and how they overcome certain dungeons. They look at what they do and what kind of items they use and patch the game so those strategies don't work anymore. They seem to actively destroy the game's balance because the point of the game is that you will always lose your characters. But this also means that there are no actual possibilities to get forward into this game. This enrages lots players because they fuck it up like this. This isn't "challenging" it's just unfair. I lost my team three times in the second goddamn dungeon, so I would totally agree with their fucked up balance.
Yeah, I really loved the game at first, but as it went on it just got more ridiculous and overbearing. The art style, the character design, the core gameplay, its all really great. But the balance is so fucked.
No joke, I got wiped on the easiest dungeon after the tutorial, during the first encounter, against plain normal bandits The first fight And then I could only get 2 characters and then had to wait for the cart to give me more character since you can't play with just 2 It's like this game expects you to get good at dice rolling, with dices that are stacked against you
Glad to see I'm not the only that thinks the difficulty is too hard. Like I get that its a roguelike and its meant to be ~~hard~~ but honestly when I play it and lose a fight it doesn't feel like I could have done anything better because I just get crit on constantly.
I don't think it's as unfair as some people make it out to be, it just has a pretty steep learning curve with all the different quirks, monsters, and curios. And if the RNG fucks you over just cut your losses and retreat. The only thing I don't like is the level-cap for missions. If that was removed it would create a friendlier game without making it too easy imo.
New Game + Complete the game in 91 Weeks with less than 13 deaths. Failure to do so and players will be greeted with a game over, and a deleted save.
Holy shit
