1. Be nice to the guy that gives you the keys after you give them the deposit
2. Re-fill all of the gas you have used (so if you use half a tank, re-fill the it)
3. Don't be an idiot at the last few hours of rental and do some burnouts and drifts
4. Treat what you rent like your own car (unless you treat every car like crap)
5. Drive it like your own car (as it don't punch it or swerve)
6. Clean up all of the garbage and get all of your stuff before you leave it at the lender.
7. Don't do anything stupid like shit in the gas tank or shit anywhere in the car or vomit or shit like that.
Anything else I forgot? Add it.
okay, why the hell was it rated dumb?
OP owns a car rental.
this is one of the most random threads i've ever seen on facepunch.
why?
OP owns a car rental.
I don't own a car rental
this is one of the most random threads i've ever seen on facepunch.
why?
Because it's a forum and there is no Random Section
haha, refill the tank? they charge you enough for the god damn car, I'm sure they can cover the cost of filling it up again
haha, refill the tank? they charge you enough for the god damn car, I'm sure they can cover the cost of filling it up again
uuhh, you get charged their rates if you wait to refill the car when returning it
I don't own a car rental, I'm too young to drive too (HA!)

surely for a reason too
haha, refill the tank? they charge you enough for the god damn car, I'm sure they can cover the cost of filling it up again
Well my dad re-filled a van he rented 4 years ago. I asked him why and he said that it's polite and part of etiquette. yeah, shit like that
[editline]20th May 2011[/editline]
surely for a reason too
because I'm bored and I finally made this thread after months of forgetting so.
5. Drive it like your own car (as it don't punch it or swerve)
What if you drive your own car like a maniac?
i see no good reason to treat the car nicely. i'll floor the accelerator of a rental car. afterall, all they do is flood the user car market and reduce the prices of that car
Only reason why you would get a rental car is to trash it
What if you drive your own car like a maniac?
4. Treat what you rent like your own car (unless you treat every car like crap)

Wow... This is why I will never start a car rental. :frog:
We recently had one of the newest convertible BMW's as a courtest car while our Merc was being repaired.
Hahaha
We did jumps in it over steep bridges (What a rush) (I'm talking about 4 wheels off the ground for a good while)
He even did donuts and burnouts in it.
(My dad driving in all of this)
Crazy stuff.

Your dad must be cool. Cooler than my dad
The bridge jump was scary as hell! :v:
We were driving up to it and he was telling me once how he did it once by accident and said "We're gonna do it again now, but properly"
So we drove over it, turned around (u-turn), and absolutely floored it. I was screaming "OH GOD OH GOD" holding on for my life. I was so terrified :v:. We took off, and it was an amazing feeling. The roof was down, too. We landed back on the ground with a huge bang and a shake, and that was that. :v:
It was an absolutely huge rush, brilliant sunny day too. :keke:
We hit it at ~60-80mph

Your English teacher is a failure.

You wrote 'courtest car'.
You wouldn't do that to your own car and I don't see why it's ok to do it just because you don't own it

The only one you got right is the first one.

Keeping it for the irony.
If he broke it, he would have fixed it without them knowing. He's been a master technician for Audi (He was a supervisor here too), BMW, Jaguar and VW (He worked at Bentley for a day but quit because he hated the people who worked there) He's got his own business now which is pretty huge so it would have been taken care of.
no one on FP is old enough to rent a car
