4890's back! - Hardware & Software

Just letting people know, Newegg and Tigerdirect seem to have gotten a new shipment of 4890's. GET'EM!! I've had one since last June, I love my XFX HD4890! :dance: It's a XFX Radeon HD 4890 1GB xXx GDDR5 to be exact.

I'm thinking about buying another and Crossfiring them together.

Whats so great about the 4890s ?

But, if you OC a GTX 260 Core 216, it can be almost identical to a 275. Wish I had a XFire mobo and $400 so I could get me those!

What's better cause I just bought another 8800gt used for 50 and are sli'ing them. I could sell them and make around 150. Stick with 8800's? Or go with 4890? Or another alternative?

For instance, the one I got cannot have its core clocked pushed beyond 655MHZ (Same with shader clock and memory bus speed, limited at a similar ratio), even with voltage raised.

My 275 pushes 90C in Crysis and Furmark.
