Interesting. I wonder how the gear progression is going to work. Right now you run Heroic Dungeons to gear up for raids, but you can also earn your gear with Justice Points that you earn while doing dungeons. With getting rid of the justice points, how are they going to supplement the gear progression in the early stages?
I like what they're talking about, but it feels like it'll remove the satisfaction of actually -getting- that final drop. I hate to resort back to Vanilla days, but when a piece dropped that you were hungry for, or NEEDED to progress, you were congratulating each other, and you yourself had the heartbeat of a marathon runner. So I don't know what they're going to do with the new system, that implements that, but makes it a bit easier to get the specific piece you need.

And because I always get equiped with first tier heroics, I snowball the entire expansion without using valor to buy gear. I find it good that they're getting rid of valors, but I wonder how are we going to upgrade gear. Gold?
Maybe the bonus roll tokens will be used for upgrades, they carry over each week like Valor and the specific tier bonus tokens would be used to upgrade its appropriate tier. The Valor system is also pretty dreadful when you got lots of alts, I can only focus on gearing 1-2 toons at a time without it consuming my life in for the quest for better loot.

I absolutely hate to try and valor cap on multiple toons.
There has been so much good shit being done with WoD that its the first time ive been hyped for a new WoW in a LONG time. New models, no flying till 6.1, OLD AV style never ending pvp zone, NO DAILYS, etc... This is just even more good news, the currency system was ass, whatever the first tier was, I think its still called justice, was completely fucking useless but you were always capped, you never used that shit to buy gear because the gear was just heroic gear. Then with Valor it had the weekly cap, so you had people in situations, mostly more serious raiders, having to do stupid dailys every single fucking day non stop for months because they could only get so much each week. I mean this was fucking awful at the release of MoP, I have never seen a worse time for dailys than pre-ToT I wonder what they have planned, I hope they make it feel less like a chore.
I can't get over the fact that they're still making expansions, I guess to some the game never gets old
I can't get over the fact that they're still making expansions, I guess to some the game never gets old
Its mainly because Blizzard is really good with content updates and keeping the game fresh, aside from the shitty times between the last raid patch and expansion release, those times generally suck. Plus its still got 7 million subs.
I can't get over the fact that they're still making expansions, I guess to some the game never gets old
WoW is more than just gameplay in many aspects, it's a great piece of art in many way, I never get bored of looking at the greatly designed scenery.
I guess I'll be playing WoW again soon.

I'm a little torn on this. The system is nice, as it made it possible to actually get some loot instead of having to run through the same raid for 3 months straight without getting anything. Plus you had a chance of getting the items you needed for the Legendary questline. On the other hand, I always found it a bit cheap when you could also just buy some equally (or at least almost equally) good gear with valor points. And it did kind of take away from the experience. Instead of going "YES, I finally got <item>" it was more "I finally got <item>. Huh" Personally I think they should settle with either of the two, or altogether get rid of both, and just make raid drops a bit more likely.
