So I'm going to build my own computer for the first time, and a user here put together this build for me, but told me to put it on here and see if anyone had any better recommendations. I'm trying to get a decent gaming rig for ~$750, with a mouse/keyboard and monitor as well.

Lookin' good, although a SpinPoint F3 might be a better choice over a Caviar Blue.
Can I have a link to what you're talking about?

The 500 GB is out of stock, but the F3s are considered to be the fastest and most reliable drives on the market right now (apart from SSDs).
I only have a 650 watt in mine however I'm using a GTX 470, so I don't think you need that much. A minimum of 600W I would say.

Also get an ASUS OEM Drive and save yourself 5$.
