• Steam slowing down my internet.

Right, so it all begins with me watching some YouTube videos, and noticing them loading humongously slow. So, I go to Speedtest.net. (My usual speed lays around 6-9mbit/s) And, well, my speed was terrible (in my standards) 2 mbit/s, when I'm paying for 8, is far from good. My first thought is my ISP fucking something up. To test this theory, I turn my main PC off, and boots up my netbook. I connect to my network wirelessly. And would you look at that, 7.5 mbit/s. Well, that shoves that theory out of the window. I turn my main PC back on again. Still slow as hell. Now, I think of malware, when I randomly decide to turn off Steam. Boom. Back to 7.50 mbit/s. I turn it back on again, 2mbit/s. I have no fucking clue what's going on what-so-ever, as steam's not downloading/updating anything. Suggestions would be appreciated.
format on a serious note, contact steam support?
I reinstalled Steam. Solved it. I have no fucking idea what may have caused it, though.
You were download a game or an update.
clientregistry.blob
No.
is deleting clientregistry.blob the first suggestion in steam help threads?
Well mostly deleting client registry.blob helps.
You were download a game or an update.
Funny thing is, I weren't.
Try the bandwidth monitor.
Try the bandwidth monitor.
Read the thread. It's since long solved.
Read the thread. It's since long solved.
Except that the cause wasn't found. But other than that, yeah.
