This build so far comes to about £975 but i don't mind going slightly over the £1000 if it is for an improved part or extras. Cheers.
Seems fine to me, If I were you I might look at getting a SSD for your OS, For reliability and the ability to re-install OS and keep all your files on a separate drive.
I'll look into that thanks =)
Pretty good, -You can change the case for a corsair 300r or Antec 302 which are half the price and do the exact same thing. (Overclockers.co.uk) -Might wanna get a modular PSU if you want a cleaner pc interior. -If you decide on saving money on the case you can upgrade your GPU to an AMD 7870 which should give you a 25% speed boost at a 20% increase in price. (its a really nice sweetspot).
The Asus 560Ti is much cheaper on ebuyer and amazon AFAIK.

Cheers, hopefully this will make it easier to choose a GPU =)

::: UPDATE ::: I have ordered a few things and i thoguht i'd leave an update here as to what ive been doing. i have ordered the following: Keyboard: Razer Black Widow Stealth Edition http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_GB/pd/productID.235196400/categoryId.56943600 Mouse: Razer Death Adder http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/12134426/Razer-Deathadder-Re-Spawn-3-5G-Infrared-Gaming-Mouse/Product.html?searchstring=razer+deathadder&searchsource=0&searchtype=allproducts&urlrefer=search Speakers: Logitech OEM S220 2.1 Speaker Black http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-OEM-S220-Speaker-Black/dp/B000QWFI9A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1340977167&sr=1-1 Monitor: LG E2251VR-BN LCD LED 22" HDMI Monitor http://www.ebuyer.com/282209-lg-e2251vr-bn-22-lcd-led-hdmi-monitor-e2251vr-bn Case: NZXT Phantom 410 White Case http://www.ebuyer.com/328698-nzxt-phantom-410-white-2x120mm-and-1x140mm-usb-3-0-mid-tower-chassis-ca-ph410-w1 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9 XMP http://www.ebuyer.com/248846-corsair-8gb-ddr3-1600mhz-vengeance-memory-cmz8gx3m2a1600c9 All of this, including shipping/delivery costs came to just under £400 (About £392) My next focus is the tower's interior parts; PSU, GPU, CPU, Motherboard, HDD & SSD. This is where i need the assistance, i have around £600 - £700 to spend on these parts. keep in mind there is a selection in the first post, and it is an intended gaming build. preferably i would like to get all of these from the same site, such as dabs or ebuyer. Thanks to those whom have helped me so far =)
I have just been looking at GPU's and would like to know something. I was originally looking at this http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-geforce-gtx-560-ti-900mhz-2gb-pci-express-hdmi-directcu-ii-7Z58.html?src=3 , but i decided to spend a bit more money and get a better one. I would like to know if this is worth the extra £60. http://www.dabs.com/products/msi-ati-radeon-7870-1050mhz-2gb-pci-e-3-0-hdmi-twin-frozr-oc-83PZ.html?refs=466840000-397930000-460970000-4294963789-14&src=3 Get back to me asap please, as i would like to start ordering soon.
Because i wish to order the rest of the parts i need soon, i have gone with someone's suggestions, but with some alterations. Here is what i have chosen: Corsair Memory 600W Builder Series CX V2 ATX PSU http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-memory-600w-builder-series-cx-v2-atx-psu-7JSQ.html Asus GeForce GTX 560 Ti 900MHz 2GB PCI-Express HDMI DirectCU II http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-geforce-gtx-560-ti-900mhz-2gb-pci-express-hdmi-directcu-ii-7Z58.html Intel Core i7-3770 S1155 3.4GHz 8MB http://www.dabs.com/products/intel-core-i7-3770-s1155-3-4ghz-8mb-7YXH.html Asus P8Z77-V LX S1155 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-p8z77-v-lx-s1155-intel-z77-ddr3-atx-80TK.html Seagate 1TB Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s 64MB 7200RPM Hard Drive http://www.dabs.com/products/seagate-1tb-barracuda-sata-6gb-s-64mb-7200rpm-hard-drive-7XD5.html Samsung 128GB 830 Series SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" SSD Basic Kit http://www.dabs.com/products/samsung-128gb-830-series-sata-6gb-s-2-5--ssd-basic-kit-819N.html My max budget for these is £700, this lot goes slightly over at a total of £709.02 Could someone please tell me if these will work togeather, if not could someone fix it for me. I wish to order these by July 8th so a quick reply would be appreciated.
I think you should get the i5 3570K. you don't need an i7 for gaming, and the i5 K's are great cpus. if you drop the i7 3770 you could spend your money on a cpu cooler e.g. the CM hyper212 instead. with that you can quite easily OC to 4.2-4.5ghz, but I believe on stock cooling you can go to 4.2ghz as well. not so sure. also I would recommend the crucial M4 SSD over the samsung. I personally have no clue when it comes to SSDs and I do not have one, but from reading a lot of pc building threads facepunch seems to have a thing for the crucial m4 drives.
but I believe on stock cooling you can go to 4.2ghz as well. not so sure.
Yeah. I use the stock cooler and with abit of play on the settings, turbo boost technology boosts my cpu to 4.2ghz while gaming and it still is pretty cool. About 65-70 Celcius Degrees.
