I currenly have a Samsung Vibrant S. I was happy with it until I realized how slow it charges. For me it takes 4-6 hours to charge up my phone. While my friend's HTC Thunderbolt completely charges in 2-3 hours. My friend went from 0-50 at least more than an hour while mine went from 11-30 exactly an hour. I have to mention that I bought this phone [B]USED[/B]. It's used for only 4 months. Using wall charger or computer makes no difference as I experimented on both. Is the problem with the phone is the battery? I am currently using a 1500 mAh stock battery.
P.S. I popped the back cover and I dunno if the smell of the battery is normal.
The battery does wear out (it wears out faster the faster it charges) so you might need to get a new battery.
The fastest charge will be through the wall charger. If it's still slow with the wall charger, then the problem is with the battery
