hopefully they can do something useful with web os
WebOS is okay, not very good but okay.
I prefer it to Apple's iOS at any rate, much more freedom.
if anyone of you ever get a touchpad, put android on it. when ICS comes out, cm7 team will port that to. Windows 8 will also support it.
I actually really like WebOS on my touchpad, at least compared to my CM7 partition. Everything just seems so much smoother in WebOS.

WebOS just never had the hardware support, which lead to a lack of developer support. My first smartphone was the palm pre. The day I got it I clocked it up to 1GHz and installed preware to do a bunch of UI mods. It was a great phone until I washed it.
I was one of the ten people that bought a Palm Pre and I loved it. Just wish they made a higher end device with it. The only issue I ever had with WebOS was a lack of applications and a feature set that definitely can't be compared to something like Android.
