I have the Fatal1ty USB Gaming Headset HS-1000. I was listening to music without the mic attached. I spilt some milk on it and my warrenty is over. The headset works just fine execpt the microphone is broken. I can't find anywere to buy a detachble mic without a headset. Any help please?

Email them to see if they will send you one. My cyborg 5.1 headset's mic broke, and I emailed them expecting to have to pay to get it replaced, as earlier one of the cups broke off as someone knocked it off my desk, and my dad just plastic cemented it back on. They sent me a new mic for free: It still didn't work. So they sent me another headset, but they had no stock. So they sent me a GH50 for free. Then, when the cyborgs came back in, sent me that too (Again free). A month or so ago a new version of the cyborg came out with stronger earcup connections. I got that in the mail again, and I didn't even expect it. If I ever get another headset again, I'd probably try to aim for saitek again for all of that.
TL;DR my headset broke and saitek sent me 3 free ~$80 headsets for free (And a new mic boom)

Get a clip on mic, sure it's an extra wire though the microphone part is well positioned. Plus you might be able to clip on the mic to the boom somehow :)
Wow ShaRose thanks. I contacted amazon and they're sending me a new Headset with a mic for free. I guess I'll just give the headset without the mic to a friend.

Just contact ocz they should get you a replacement.
Whoever rated bad reading doesn't understand I know he isn't under warranty he would have to pay for it.
Now contact the manufacturer and say that it's broken

No the headset works just fine, its the mic thats broken.
And to the people above me I did and they're sending me a new headset.
