• McAfee Keeps Reinstalling Itself

Alright, so over the summer when I made my choice about college I set up my laptop with the free antivirus software that colleges provide. Now that I realize McAfee is complete shit, I'm trying to uninstall it. There are 3 McAfee programs I try to uninstall: McAfee VirusScan Enterprise, McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise Module, and McAfee Agent. The first two uninstall without a problem, but McAfee Agent just doesn't want to uninstall. It won't uninstall when it's in "Managed Mode", which I think is the main problem. Anyways, I did some research and found out you can turn off managed mode and just completely uninstall agent by using this code in command prompt: "C:\Program Files\McAfee\Common Framework\frminst" /forceuninstall. I run command prompt and use this code, but since im using a 64 bit OS i change it to this: "C:\Program Files(x86)\McAfee\Common Framework\frminst" /forceuninstall. For some reason it can't find the path specified, which I think is odd. That's exactly where the frminst.exe file is, which puts McAfee into Managed mode and all that. Also, since I can't uninstall Agent, it keeps reinstalling the other two and making my daily browsing and all that a very large annoyance. Any help?
There is a space missing between "Files" and "(x86)"
what i would do is to manually navigate to the file in cmd. Ex. cd C:\ cd Pro<TAB> - hit tab until you see Program Files x86 cd McAfee cd Common<TAB> -same as above.. frminst /forceuninstall Hopefully that will work.
bassie12 your suggestion worked, thanks! McAfee can no longer plague my computer
