So, Yeah. I've already got the card ordered, It's on it's way right now. Mainly my question is, I forgot to look into the power supply and I don't know if a 450W PSU will be able to power this thing. I know it isn't a low profile card, but I need to know if I need a new PSU or not. If I do, I already know where I can pick up a 600W one. I just don't want to waste the time and money if I don't need to. If it matters any... Processor: AMD Athlon Dual-Core 2.5GHz 4GB RAM Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Also, PSU is ThermalTake TR2 RX. :v:
what PSU specifically saying 450W means nothing, it could be great or it could be a $10 piece of shit that detonates under half load
I have a shitty 500W Antec PSU that came with the case and the card is working fine for me. I have a Q9450 overclocked to 3,2 Ghz, so you'll probably be fine.
