Can't wait, COH was amazing.
I hope it will be as good as the current ones.
Can't wait, COH was amazing.
You mean ''is amazing''.
It's a shame the newer CoH's were so unbalanced. Looking forward to a reboot, though.
Nice, CoH was the only RTS I ever really bothered to get into.
I hope they keep up the awesome voice acting. That was one of my favorite parts of the first CoH. That and the explosions.
CoH is still one of the greatest games I have ever played and I always have it installed. It still looks great as well.
Didn't like the main creator or something get in a car accident and died, but died to save his pregnant wife?
I hope they don't take out the base building like they did in DoW2. It'd be great if they supported mods more too. But they probably won't.
Wonder if the Russian equipment is going to brake down after 2 miles away from the factory like it did in real life..
Read the article, they have some interesting features such as the snow drifts affecting unit movement, which can change during the game, and the roads will get muddy, your tanks get stuck etc. I think.
Wonder if the Russian equipment is going to brake does 2 miles off from the factory like it did in real life..
Probably not but i suspect jamming will occur, the ppsh was infamous for it after all.
Wonder if the Russian equipment is going to brake does 2 miles off from the factory like it did in real life..
According to Zaloga, the problem in serious transmission defects was in the early productions of Soviet tanks, most notably the early T-34s...

coh 2 is cool and all but id rather relic stop making carbon copies of the first. granted they've only made dawn of war 2 but it was too fucking close to coh. im not a fan of coh (can you tell?) but that doesnt mean i think they're bad, just not for me. i just dont want it to spill into other franchises (ie dawn of war 3 being a copy of this...)

What do you expect? besides, they both are great games, and I hope the same for COH2. Other then that, I hope COH2 also features Europe and Africa. I like the eastern front and all. but It really feels like that is featured in all WW2 based games nowadays...

With what the article says about what they're doing with snow, an Africa style expansion sounds likely, seeing as similar things can be done with sand.
I remember when I read previews about the first COH. They said a special feature of it is destroying buildings and infantry can dynamically hide behind the physic-debris. Too bad this rarely happened in the game. But I'm looking forward to the second game. Hopefully it'll be a conventional RTS (unlike the game modes from Tales of Valor or Dawn of War 2). COH is still my favorite RTS after Empire Earth. What I didn't like about COH are technical issues. Everything looks a bit blurry to me, the shadows could have a higher resolution and I'm not sure if they use LODs, because when you tilt the camera, so that you see the whole battlefield, the framerate suffers heavily.
According to Zaloga, the problem in serious transmission defects was in the early productions of Soviet tanks, most notably the early T-34s...
But also the craftsmanship of the T-34 tanks got worse through out the war (Due to more automative processes and skilled workers being sent to the front lines)
Company of herpes was well ahead of its time, with amazing graphics in 2006 and gameplay as well.
I hope this time it focuses on the pacific war or russia vs germany
