Say you were to kill your grandfather, and make it with your grandmother. With a child between the two of you, you effectivally have become your own Grandfather.
Say you were to actually have sex with your mother before your father did, would this make you your own father as well? It would be different genes, but you still are your own father since you exist in real time thus there must be a real father (yourself).
In addition, the child born will be you since there is a "you" in real time with said mother and father, effectivelly making you dominant male. There are now two of you in the world.
Congratulations, you have now done it with your grandmother and mother.

Yeah, except that whole theory wouldn't work. Your DNA and your granddad's DNA are different, and so the DNA in your sperm is different. So when you killed your grandpa and fucked your grandma, the result wouldn't be your father or you, but a completely different person. Thus, that whole picture fails.

Time travel can exist, just not backwards. You see, nature will not allow us to go faster than the speed of light, so what does it do? Slow down time. So, if you were to go in a train that NEVER stops, and it goes almost faster than the speed of light if you were to run up and down for a week, time around you would advance 5 years, and you would only age one week.
The reason we know that it cannot go backwards is that, how come no-one has traveled back to our time yet? That coupled with the fact that is impossible.
The moment we made a functioning time machine, someone would pop in from the future at that moment to destroy it.

And not just that, as our solar system is in motion with the galaxy, and the galaxy is in motion with other galaxies etc. so technically you could end up very far away from earth.
Just as building a time machine that sends you forward in time (rather than slowing down your personal frame of time) would result in you not being on earth any more. (You've moved on the time axis but not on the spacial axii )

It's these kinds of paradoxes that make time travel [b]IMPOSSIBLE[/b]. If time travel was possible, it couldn't be like that since that violates the laws of physics. Even quantum physics deny that paradoxes can occur in normal space.
Even with parallel universes those universes would have to have different laws of physics than ours.

I like to go with the theory that if you went back in time and changed something then it already happened, so no matter what you do it has no effect, because it already happened.
