As im typing this im in my apt. complex comp room. i have no internet for my computer.
I want to play Windows games on Linux without internet, trying to install PlayOnLinux or WINE requires internet.
Anyway around this?
OS: Linux Mint 10 "Julia" (Basically another version of Ubunut but improved.)
Can you get access to a computer with Internet? Does mint have the Synaptic manager thing?
Couldn't you just take your computer into the comp room and plug in an ethernet cable?

K, ill unplug all my shit and carry the monitor and case over... i dont have a laptop -.-
Try not to always assume everyone uses laptops :P
I don't know why, but I always assume linux = laptop. Still, you should be able to carry your computer in and hook it up.
You should be able to download wine and put the file on a usb and install it with a command when you return to your pc.

People tend to run old laptops on linux :v:
