seems like every time I see this in the News Section the release date keeps getting pushed back more
so did I read it right that if you PS3 pack you get codes for Vita pack or would I need to fork out another $40 to play it.? on Vita.?
Man, that's not much for $80, especially since the base game is $40. That's double the price.

No.
PS3 version comes with FFX and FFX-2 on one disc; no vita versions, for $40 USD
Vita version comes with FFX on the cartridge and a voucher to download FFX-2; no PS3 version, for $40 USD
The digital version you can purchase on PSN are bundled together, and you still only get PS3 or Vita.
Myself, since FFX is one of my favorite RPG's and easily my favorite FF game; I'll wind up getting both the PS3 and Vita versions for $80. The games do support cross-save, so you can play on PS3 then transfer the save to the Vita or vice versa.
