The group will post a full page ad in the Washington Times on Monday. The advertisement will have the headline, “We, the undersigned, proudly support Governor Mitt Romney as our nation’s next President and Commander-in-Chief,” followed by the names of the former military commanders. OMG! a one paragraph blog post and a completely irrelevant headline! Great post!~
Whilst a coup is highly unlikely, one must always expect the worst when dealing with the High Inquisitor. Also, it might mean the generals and admirals won't be so cushy or cooperative with Obama if and when the High Inquisitor loses the election. Regardless, quite a sensational story(!)
Thanks, I just wanted to get one more ejaculated thread out before the obozonog takes office for a second term
Well played Romney, well played Checkmate Obama

Even though highly unlikely, it begs a question within my head. What would happen if a coup took place within the US? Even though the US is somewhat immune to many of the political issues that plague unstable countries, anything and everything is possible.
Have to say that frankly they should be supporting their commander and chief regardless of who he is. Why? It's military regulation.
A coup hasn't really happened in most western nations, because the government isn't a singular entity and is kinda powerful. A coup is sudden, as opposed to a revolution and such. Like, it mainly happens when the government is at its weakest, or in a transitional period. The last coup that I could think of that happened to a powerful nations, was the soviet coup over the Russian Federation for like 3 days. [editline]6th November 2012[/editline] Notice how they're all in the same region?

Fox nation is amazing and a proud display of American behavioral-ism towards the rest of the world, and ourselves.
The comments are making me want to cry
Oh god. I loved your title, even though i support romney... sort of.
Oh god. I loved your title, even though i support romney... sort of.
I really have trouble understanding conservatives bronies
A coup hasn't really happened in most western nations, because the government isn't a singular entity and is kinda powerful.
Well, and Western democratic nations all pull fairly heavily from the design of the United States, which intentionally places a civilian as the leader of both the nation and its military. It is a small thing, but it means there is no single military figure who controls the military. If implemented correctly, no single figure outside of the president/prime minister controls more than a single branch of the armed forces.
I really have trouble understanding conservatives bronies
What do you mean like that? I sit in the middle of the road, not really conservative nor liberal.
Health care kills!
You heard it here first folks. Health care for everyone kills!
Fast communications could also be a key. Most areas with coup's are underdeveloped and, like with the USSR coup, because of technology like phones, a lot of eastern european countries and the population rallied against them.
What do you mean like that? I sit in the middle of the road, not really conservative nor liberal.
But even then, if you sort of support romney, you're way off to the right as he's far as fuck right. That doesn't let you be centre of the road at all. Just somewhere off right.
What do you mean like that? I sit in the middle of the road, not really conservative nor liberal.
Cause candidate = party mentality.
I think he's confusing you with someone else.
It's true there are many conservative bronies around here and I did post that in general, but being even sort of supportive of Romney, anywhere outside the US, puts you on the far, far right. Even in the US, it's far right. To me, that's a little bit of a contradiction to "middle of the road"
You almost always ride the perfect line of parody and the real thing but you broke that here and my heart...
Quite frankly, you're right, and I apologize completely. Allow me to mend your heart with kind words of endearment and the such.

And then send all the tea partiers there. This will grant the Dems a super majority. Hopefully they won't squander it this time by trying to compromise.
