A 19-year-old man playing with a remote control helicopter in Brooklyn lost control of it, sliced off the top of his own head and died Thursday afternoon, law enforcement officials said. The helicopter enthusiast, identified by officials as Roman Pirozek Jr., and his father were in Calvert Vaux Park at Shore Parkway and Bay 44th Street in Gravesend. Pirozek also sheared off part of his shoulder, officials said.
http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/national-international/Toy-Helicopter-Head-Teen-Brooklyn-Gravesend-222576101.html?_osource=SocialFlowFB_DFWBrand http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Toy-Helicopter-Head-Teen-Brooklyn-Gravesend-222576101.html
He should have practiced a little more with all those fancy tricks; he just got ahead of himself.
that's fucking terrible also fuck that mission in vice city
I guess you could say this is the ultimate price we pay for RC helicopters.
they dont call them choppers for nothing
He was just trying to get a heads-up on the competition.
I really should be paying attention to the fact someone died but I'm too distracted on remembering that vice city mission.
umm what kind of rc helicopter could possibly do this
umm what kind of rc helicopter could possibly do this
http://media.nbcdfw.com/images/654*368/teen+helicopter+death+Roman+Pirozek+Jr.jpg it wasnt some dinky little wal mart thing, read the article
umm what kind of rc helicopter could possibly do this
Guarantee it was a 6 channel collective pitch, just a slightly smaller real heli. They are dangerous and accidents happen like this 2-3 times a year [editline]Edit[/editline] Some even use miniature jet turbines (AND USE GOD DAMN JET FUEL) I could seriously talk about rc planes and helis all day just about
umm what kind of rc helicopter could possibly do this
Maybe an enthusiast RC helicopter.
Wow, what a buzz kill.
umm what kind of rc helicopter could possibly do this
Wasn't there a story similar to this accouple weeks ago?
It says "slices own head" not decapitate. -snip-
I want a micro collective pitch heli so bad its not even funny but I already own too many planes (2 jets, 2 60" wingspan props, 2 micros, and one decent heli)
It says "slices own head" not decapitate. -snip-
oh yeah oops oh well
It says "slices own head" not decapitate. I don't think a model helicopter could break someone's neck and slice their head clean off.
These helicopters are massive and have a TON of moving mass on the rotor blades and tail blades. It is not uncommon for tail blades to go flying and embed themselves into nearby objects including humans or cars
He was just trying to get a heads-up on the competition.
You want ratings on the internet so badly that you're willing to make light of someone getting their head lopped off in front of their own father.
that's gonna hurt in the morning
What the FUCK
I never thought of this as a way to die.
that's gonna hurt in the morning
Not really. Dude's dead. Dead heads don't hurt.
Good thing I use RC submarines

I don't see that severing a neck.
at least he died doing what he loved
