I haven't seen a thread like this one yet and figured it would be interesting why everyone use a certain browser. Personally I prefer Firefox because it is stable and very customizable.
Contrary to what I'm currently using, I love Chrome.
Chrome, it's fast, has plenty of useful extensions, and is overall my favorite of the others I've tried.

Are you trolling? Your name is firefox. haha
Opera because I won't have to fiddle with 100 plugins to get the same options.
Agreed. Opera just always seemed to look really nice to me too.

Chrome beat Opera and Firefox by a little

Chrome won by a lot.

Chrome won by a fair amount.

Firefox won this one, but Chrome is second ahead of Opera.
And we all know even though IE9 won that first benchmark test, it's a shit browser so it doesn't mean much. Therefore by technical standards, Chrome is the best!
And otherwise, what else is different? The UI is really personal choice, and most browsers are pretty customizable in that way. And most browsers have generally the same share of plugins.
Also chrome scores a perfect 100 on the Acid3 test. So did Opera and Safari.
Every other browser fell behind.

I like chrome if I didn't make it clear enough

These are somewhat old tests. I am sure if you would run them now they would be different.
Netscape 3.0 bitches!
Chrome, loads so fast. But I would prefer a custom browser.
Firefox. Because even if chrome was better I would be to lazy to switch.
Google Chrome.
It's fast, simple and.. I love the built-in Google search. Just type a word, any word to the address bar and you are off to Google where you can: Find pictures, find a translate, etc.
Firefox.
Because furries love it.
Google Chrome
Go Chrome or go home
Google Chrome
Ugh I tried running Chrome but there were so few shortcuts and buttons on the interface, I found it hard to activate anything at all. It was like using the Wii Browser and was frustating as hell. Also, the speed difference over Firefox was negligible at best (and it often ran much slower for me, or just didn't load pages at all. Also had problems running tons of scripts... christ what a fucking pain in the ass to get pages I made to work in it).
But Firefox has another advantage: it seems to be the browser of choice for developers, and I use quite a few plugins to help with web design. The only reason I ever run Chrome/IE is to make sure pages work in those browsers. Otherwise I hate the crap out of them.
I use Chrome because it's fast and I like the home page.
Chrome is really minimalist at first glace, but you can do some in-depth things once you play around with it for a bit and learn it.

Yeah I was looking at the extensions thread on these forums and there are some pretty awesome ones.
Not just extensions, there are shortcuts to do things that firefox has buttons for while chrome doesn't.
and firefox users tend to assume those don't exist, just because they can't find the buttons.
Firefox. It's got everything I need, and there's plugins for pretty much anything you can think of. I have Chrome installed as well but I rarely use it because I don't like its UI.
Mozilla Explorer Chrome 11.01.
I like chrome's minimalist design and the ability to google straight from the address bar.
Firefuck, because i can't be assed to learn a new browser.
I tend to mainly use Opera, but when it isn't supported by a certain site like Netflix, then I'll use Chrome as a backup.
Opera, close the web browser by accident and losing all your tabs? Not a problem with Opera!
I like Chrome, Firefox, and IE 9, they're all fast, just different. I prefer chrome, even though I've had a great experience with all three:
Chrome is fast and small, very few problems or lock ups. Huge plus, I want my browser to keep up with my connection.
Firefox has a better plugin API, less restrictive. I can find very robust addons that streamline my browsing experience.
IE 9 is a lot like chrome, actually. I don't mind using it, but it doesn't make it a point to advertise its addon support, so I don't typically venture into that.
I used Firefox after 4 was released, because it claimed to be faster. This was true for the most part. Lately my favorite extension, the RSS ticker, started causing unreasonably long lock ups, and I do love my RSS feeds. I finally found a good third party RSS reader, and now I am with chrome and enjoying it.
Opera, close the web browser by accident and losing all your tabs? Not a problem with Opera!
Chrome, does the same thing.

As well as Firefox. All you do is enable the feature.
Firefox.
