So my friends tell me about this new game called Candy Crush and how it's really fun, I go "oh that sounds cool I'll have to download it". Go on the App store and end up buying a game called Candy Crush[B]er[/B] for $0.99. Imagine my surprise when I found out last week that the game that I had purchased wasn't the game I thought it was, and I was playing the wrong game the entire time.
And now I can't even get the free version of Candy Crush because that $0.99 I spent on Candy Crush[B]er[/B] was more money than I had in my account, so my bank froze my account.

If there's a popular game on iOS/Android, you're bound to see dozens of clones that try to imitate the gameplay/design/name as closely as possible.

Yeah, it basically gets not fun at around level 100. You need 30-50 tries on the same level and are basically completely relying on luck to get you by.
Dont do it. Do not go public.
Look at Zynga. Learn from their mistakes.
Fuck this game seriously, I was stuck on level 33 for 3 weeks straight. Finally passed it so am trying to complete the 3 quests to unlock the next set of levels.
I will still never forgive them for that cooki exploit aimed at mobile android/iOS browsers. Took forever for them to fix it on the iOS side.
