My dog ate wild grapes and is probably going to die

My dog Zoe is the sweetest god damn dog I've ever seen. She has never bit at or acted hostile to anyone, and she barks so rarely I don't even remember what she sounds like. She doesn't really play that much, she just likes being around people and being petted. I like to think I'm her favorite, because she listens to me more than anyone else and I give her more food and treats.
She's a rescue dog, and she only has three legs. They found her with about three and a half and they amputated the half. She can still run faster than me though. She's an American Staffordshire with kinda floppy ears, and she's completely brown except for one white toe on her remaining back leg.
Anyways, we never really take her on walks, we just let her out the back and she shits where she will. When it's sunny, she'll lie down in the sun until I shake the treat box to call her back in. Well, Saturday, I think it was, some asshole forgot to let her back in for about two hours after she was let out. It was probably one of my brothers. Well, she found some wild grapes.
If you didn't know, grapes are toxic to dogs, and she ate a shit ton of grapes. She vomited up some of them, but she shat some out, too, which means they were able to go all the way through her system. She hasn't eaten since then, and hasn't been able to keep water down either. This morning she couldn't even walk without stumbling around.
My dad took her to the vet today, and they say she has major kidney damage from the grapes. They've got her hooked up to an IV to both provide her with nutrients and to keep her from dying of dehydration. The vet hazarded a guess and said her chances are probably 50/50.
Well, that's all really. Thanks if you actually read this. Also, I feel bad because I'm more upset about this than when my grandmother died during the summer.
tl;dr - My dog ate wild grapes and is probably going to die
Edit:
My dad my older bro and I stopped by the vet today after school to go see Zoe.

She was really weak and tired, and most of the time she just laid on her side. Even though she's been receiving fluids via IV, she hasn't pissed the whole time she was there. That means her kidneys aren't working at all. Her breath smelled bad, and she had the beginnings of a nasty wet cough. Bleak.
Before we left, the vets started to try one last thing, a drug to help her piss and get all that fluid out. They didn't seem optimistic, though.
My dad went back to the vet to check up, and I haven't talked to him yet, but I did talk on the phone to my stepmom, and I'm pretty sure she's dead.
Now I gotta go finish cooking dinner, I'll update after we eat.
Edit 2:
We had to put her down, there really wasn't any chance of recovery at this point. Zoe's vet mentioned that she had a dog die of kidney failure, and this was the point she put it down.
Back in June, my grandmother, my Dad's mother, died of heart and kidney failure. Near the end, she was bloated and wasn't passing fluids well. The last thing we tried for Zoe, the diuretic, happened to be the exact same drug as the last, or one of the last, drug my grandmother got. Zoe and my grandmother died of almost the same thing, just different causes.
My grandmother was mayor of the small town she lived in for over a decade, and was almost universally loved by the community. Apparently, almost everyone at the small vet's office loved Zoe because she was so sweet and friendly. She's been there several times for routine checkups and boarding when we go on trips and shit. One woman knew exactly how long she'd known Zoe.
Anyways, I think the similarities and the proximity really upset my dad. He and I dug a grave together in the backyard, in a place Zoe sometimes wandered off to when we let her out for a while. We just got finished burying her.
Thanks everyone for your sympathy.
That's too bad man. Hope she pulls through...
But why did your dog eat grapes?
Stomach Pump woo.
I'm so sorry. I understand how you feel. I wish I could help. I hope that everything turns out alright, and I will keep you and Zoe in my thoughts.

She'll eat anything in front of her, really.
She found some grapes outside and just decided to eat them.
On the bright side, at least you put this thread in FT instead of GD.

she needs kidneys
One can only hope when its 50/50
I hope she pulls through
Why is she probably going to die when it's just a 50/50 chance? Being pessimistic is no way to be .

Like OP said they passed all the way through her already. That wouldn't do any good now. The damage is done.

I'm not offended, I kinda expected this, but these aren't even good jokes.
How dare you. I gave you a heart and everything.
I hope your dog will be okay.

If you are just going to joke around in a serious thread then just get the fuck out. I'd hate to see my dog in pain, I wouldn't take jokes from people either.
Lighten up. If someone makes a thread for sympathy, there's got to be a token jackass to make inappropriate jokes about it. Just so happens today was my turn.

Attempting jokes at the expense of others isn't an obligation like fucking jury duty. Also, even if it was, your jokes suck. I had grapes with dinner and chuckled to myself about it. I really don't care. But you're bad at it.

My material's off, I apologize. You know the key to avoiding this? Don't let it be at your expense. I'm a jackass. Me making jokes shouldn't mean anything.

Hopefully your dog will hit the 50 mark, the good 50 mark, not the bad. If not just know she had a happy life.
How old is she? :ohdear:
