[B]What is CANSEC?[/B]
CANSEC is basically an arms and security trade show hosted in the city of Ottawa, Canada. Why is it a big deal? Well apart from the latest and greatest in military technology being showcased the city of Ottawa actually banned such trade shows since 1989. The ban was lifted in 2009 and CANSEC was hosted for the first time in the city. Now it is 2010 and CANSEC is back, and boy are there some [I]really[/I] cool toys being showcased. However this show is rather exclusive, in fact on the website it states that "Exclusively open to Government Employees, Canadian Military and Security Personnel, First Responders and CADSI Members ONLY. Sorry, there are no exceptions." Not to worry though, yours truly got an invitation and I took some pictures you're probably not going to find anywhere else. All the big players in military and defence tech were there; Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Colt, General Dynamics, Raytheon, MEGGiTT, L-3 Communications and much, much more.
For the record I would like to state that I have been told nothing in these pictures is classified as secret, everything can be shown to the public. The reason why I am posting them is that they are exclusive, as mentioned earlier the average Joe can't exactly just waltz into this place. I would also like to note that the faces blurred out are to cover my ass in case a bunch of hippies decide to post these around and try to make the people in them look like warmongers or something and try to make it look like I am supporting some retarded hippie ideals. [B]These pictures are not anti-CANSEC in any way[/B], I am a proud supporter of this nations military and an employee of the Department of National Defence.
Anyway on with the pictures, I don't know much about the specs of the vehicles so maybe someone can shed some light on the unidentified ones. After all this place was busy, and I don't exactly look important either. It would've been impossible to talk to everyone about the details of each piece of equipment.

Honestly I have absolutely no idea what they are, there was just a big pile of them and I took one. If anyone knows if they actually do something that'd be awesome.
