• Tea Party members are coming to talk to my class, what should I ask them?

Since we already took the tests for AP gov, the teacher has recently been calling in representatives from parties to come talk to us about their beliefs. We've already had a Democrat, and a Peace and Freedom representative, and on Monday a few people from the local Tea Party movement are coming to talk to us, and we get to ask them questions. Facepunch, what should I ask them? I will post the replies Monday night.
bring a recorder please, and post results
Ask them what their favorite type of tea is. Do they prefer iced tea, or nestea?
Ask them what they're trying to achieve in the overall scheme of things.
Ask them what they think of separation of Church and state.
Ask them why they're so stupid and loud
Ask them if they want to turn the country into a police state.
Ask them how the words tea and party can be in the same sentence, let alone name.
ask them a question
ask them how they plan to convince the elderly voting bloc that the Ryan plan is good for them
Make sure you wear one of these awesome new Tea Party shirts: http://imvotingteaparty.com/
Their were a few of them on the campus of my college so I went to talk to them without all the derp why don't you cut medicare bullshit. Honestly the people I met were very sincere about it and not the extremists you see on the news. They were concerned with local things like city tax money being spent on decorating a construction site trailer or having a state poet (yes as in poetry) with a 150grand sallery. I can defiantly see their point.

dump them all into a river and yell "tea party, bitch"
Just like every group, the idiots make the most noise.
Or it's just that the media focuses only on the idiots.
Don't act like an idiot, ask well-thought questions. Especially if you want to make them look like an idiot.
Ask for their long form birth cirtificate.
Ask what their favorite book is.
ask them what they think the first things to get budget cuts should be in a financial problem like police, medicine, transportation, etc. also ask them what they think about corporate lobbying, or lobbying in general
Honestly, only ask real, serious questions. If you don't, you'll be the one who looks like an idiot.
Ask them if they have a social security card. Then lash out at them in how they are being enslaved by the federal government. Be more conservative than they are. Edit: If it's a serious question, ask him about the PATRIOT Act and how he would justify it.
The tea party is always outside my local post office, they have a large poster of obama with a poorly shopped hitler mustache on him. I went to ask the elderly people holding the posters some questions and when I asked them why they were so angry an elderly woman told me "Obama wants to kill your grandma!". Dead serious, I then rebutted her claims with "actually that whole death panel idea was nothing more than a conspiracy started by Sarah Palin over twitter" and that there was no actual evidence behind it. To which she responded "you're just too young to understand". Im 17.
Ask them what they think about public education.
ask them what they think the first things to get budget cuts should be in a financial problem like police, medicine, transportation, etc. also ask them what they think about corporate lobbying, or lobbying in general
I think the answers to these would be pretty interesting.
Just get up and silently poop on the floor where they are speaking.
Ask them what they think about Obama. That could get some hilarious results.
Just get up an silently poop on the floor where they are speaking.
this, BUT you'd get more points for doing it as loudly as humanly possible. and even more points if you throw it at them afterwards.
Ask them why they hate progress. Ask one of them how much they make yearly, and then without hesitation ask them why they love the high class.
this, BUT you'd get more points for doing it as loudly as humanly possible. and even more points if you throw it at them afterwards.
i disagree, doing it silently adds to the mystery, especially if right after you go and take a seat and act like nothing happened
