They're probably sick of getting robbed all the time and went on vacation.
They forgot to lock the doors or turn off the lights but whatever

They said they removed Lester ability to set a bounty and the Store Clerks to battle cheaters until they found a fix.
In another thread, someone points out how Rockstar is putting so much effort into clamping down hard on a game about being freewheeling criminals who kill and steal that it's almost counterintuitive. Here, be a criminal, but don't actually cheat, and nobody's allowed to be a cop either and we won't sell the outfit for any amount of money, no fun allowed.
They're probably sick of getting robbed all the time and went on vacation.
they're having a collective meeting of clerks to stop this bullshit
GTA online is just a generally awfully designed game from it's foundation. The only saving grace is that it threw the singleplayer world and assets in there. Too bad they also force shut down the modded servers that actually had people without greed damaged brains designing them.

There is a new mod menu going around that can continually glitch out Secroserv into paying you $50k every chance it has (That is atleast 100-200k every second). They'll likely adjust your balance or just straight out ban you for you being in another lobby with a hacker. GTAV:O is operated by the most incompetent people in the world.
GTAV:O is operated by the most incompetent people in the world.
It's all because they made the retarded decision to have PC use the consoles' P2P solution. P2P on a console is acceptable because few people will go to the trouble of hacking the console to cheat, and it'll be easy to detect the people that have. On PC, P2P competitive multiplayer is insane because installing hacks is as easy as dropping a DLL into the GTAV folder. Never mind that GTAO is a bigger F2P grind than some Korean cash-shop F2Ps I've played, but I didn't have to pay $60 for the privilege of being flossed by those. I once did the math and figured out that if you wanted to buy the game and immediately get the gold-plated Luxor from buying Shark Cards, it'd cost you about $200 USD -- they somehow managed to make Star Citizen and the selling of digital spaceships look like a reasonable business model.
Tbh I was running low on cash so I reinstalled a trainer and gave myself a couple extra million and I'm still not banned, despite others who've never cheated in their life getting shat on for no reason. Doesn't really matter to me anyway, there's no real reason to play GTAO anymore, it's just a grind to get new cars and shit or whatever and then go "wow, I've got a car that I could've just downloaded a trainer and spawned in singleplayer if I wanted to drive it around, along with the reduced risk of being blown up by a hacker because Rockstar doesn't care about cheaters unless they're giving themselves money"

Its nice for screwing around, if a bit tedious to get setup and running though (Still working on all that DLC streaming crap). But overall, it is a much better experience all around. I do miss the missions & heists. But their money output is so miniscule and finding a good pubber is like winning the lottery. Everything else is lobby focused these days.
