If you had a PlayStation Network, Qriocity, or Sony Online Entertainment account before May 15, 2011, then you were affected by the breach and are eligible for a few different compensations from a list of choices. Depending on the service(s) you were or are subscribed to there are a few options ranging from money back, to free additional time with paid services. Regarding the PlayStation Network, there is the option of getting some free games, some free dynamic themes, or three-months of PlayStation Plus if you are not already a Plus subscriber.
The games up for grabs, of which you can choose one or two depending on your eligibility, include PlayStation 3 and PSP titles. PlayStation 3 options include Dead Nation, Infamous, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, Rain, Puppeteer, Invizimals: Lost Kingdom, and God of War HD. PSP options include LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, Patapon 3, Killzone Liberation, Wipeout Pure, and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror.
You can also choose, as another option, to redeem free dynamic themes based on games like Wipeout HD, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Tokyo Jungle, The Last of Us, and Ratchet & Clank.
Infamous 1? LittleBigPlanet 1? Really, guys? I'm not expecting anything like The Last of Us, but giving people 6-7 year-old games is pretty lame. At least give them the 4 year-old sequels.
Will probably be picking up Puppeteer.
i'm grabbing three months of playstation plus
Infamous 1? LittleBigPlanet 1? Really, guys? That selection is pretty crappy.

Thats the game I chose. Chose LBP1 first time around. I love the series.
And before anyone says anything. Yes, this was a repost. I did a toxx on it, but enough people thought it was fake, so I "lost" the toxx. At the time, there was no news on it, other than my email. Now that there is, I decided to remake it, since no one else did.
Anyway, good on Sony for doing this. This isn't just for PSN accounts too.
"Regarding the PlayStation Network, there is the option of getting some free games, some free dynamic themes, or three-months of PlayStation Plus if you are not already a Plus subscriber."
I don't like that they can discriminate the refund against existing subscribers just so they can rope in new subscribers.
Didn't they give out these same games when psn went down for like a week one time?
Didn't they give out these same games when psn went down for like a week one time?
Yep, welcome back package. You got to choose 2 PS3 games, and 2 PSP games. I chose LBP1, inFamous, Killzone and some other PSP game I forgot the name of.

Not exactly I think, I got Wipeout HD from the last one and the game itself doesn't seem to be an option here. The theme is, however.
I actually qualify for this but the captcha at the end refuses to work for me.
[editline]22nd January 2015[/editline]
Nevermind, IE saved my day for once.
I don't have a ps3 or a psp and I'm already subscribed to psn
neat

You could get all of them if you had multiple accounts on one ps3 :P
You could get all of them if you had multiple accounts on one ps3 :P
I had 3
it was fucking great
[sp]though it didn't matter because I already owned a few of the games at the time[/sp]
Too bad I didn't create a PSN account until December 2011, oh well.
How do you choose the games? I cant find the link

File an online claim.

I wish I could do this outside of the US, $5 in Station cash wouldn't entirely be unwanted.
So those who didn't get the free stuff years back, now they can. That's what I'm getting from this.
I wasn't able to active the pc version of portal 2 because of the psn downtime, and already owned all the games when the welcome back program came out. I feel kinda fucked.
Too much mind-boggling legalese paperwork to go through just for some old games.
Maybe if they offered some Vita titles.

Actually, it's both. You can get free stuff whether or not you participated in the "welcome back" thing, and if you didn't participate, you get even more stuff.
The games/themes on offer are ridiculously old, though. One of the PSP games is fucking Wipeout Pure. A ten-year-old launch title. Really?
I chose God of War HD for mine. Never played, but always been slightly interested in the series. The three months of PS Plus is probably the best option overall, but I don't use my PS3/Vita enough to really get the most out of it.
"[The free PS Plus subscription] is available as an option if you do not already subscribe to
PlayStation Plus."
Fuck, I chose a really bad time to subscribe to PS plus. Especially considering I'm eligible for six months.
EDIT: Oh, never mind. We have until August 31st to send this in.
Wait, this is different from the 2011 PSN outage? I have an account back from January 2011, would I qualify?
Wait, this is different from the 2011 PSN outage? I have an account back from January 2011, would I qualify?
Yep.
I got 10 emails sent to my hotmail.

I get to redeem 10 times right?
i already have all the ps3 games and a full year of plus
psn funds wouldve been much better
Are the rewards applied to your account automaticly or do they send you them in the mail?
Infamous 1? LittleBigPlanet 1? Really, guys? I'm not expecting anything like The Last of Us, but giving people 6-7 year-old games is pretty lame. At least give them the 4 year-old sequels.

And games they had already given away

But most of the questions are just "what games do you want" :v:
Is this US only? Or can Europeans benefit from this too? Is there an EU specific form? as I cannot submit my actual city and country.
If you didn't participe in the Welcome Back program back in 2011 you can select another reward.
