The car - a Volvo SUV - was in self-driving mode at the time of the crash, on Friday, Uber said. No one was hurt.
pfft Tesla wannabes
pfft Tesla wannabes
It's that or budget cuts, you know? since they didn't go with Tesla that has more experience in this field of self drivers.
pfft Tesla wannabes
Volvo was experimenting with self-driving cars before Tesla was.
Volvo was experimenting with self-driving cars before Tesla was.
Plus it was making cars before Nikola Tesla himself was even born. That is a joke, but you get the point.
Tesla doesn't want their self driving cars to be used in third party shared ride services
My older brother works in the R&D department for Uber. He told me they're not really trying to perfect self-driving cars for their services but rather to be the first to make and to license them out.

I was just trying to clear up that their intention was not to use it for their services primarily.
