This would have been huge if it was successful. Fitting image.. [release]Russian and Ukrainian intelligence services have successfully foiled terrorist plans to assassinate Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, according to Russia’s Channel One TV. Russia’s Channel One said on Monday the internationally-wanted criminals detained in Ukrainian city of Odessa confessed they had intended to assassinate Putin. The attack was supposed to be carried out in Moscow right after the presidential elections of March 4. The press-secretary of Russia's head of government and presidential hopeful has confirmed the report. "I confirm the information, but make no comment on it," Russia’s Itar-Tass news agency quotes Dmitry Peskov as saying on Monday.[/release] 1tv (If you can't read Russian don't bother clicking )
I feel like Russia would be up if Putin was out. Maybe not assassinated, but just out of politics.
Fuck.
I guess you can say the assassin was Putin jail.
Fucking A, they prevented the death of someone who is very manly and president-worthy.
Fucking A, they prevented the death of someone who is very manly and president-worthy.
so i see you know nothing about putin
so i see you know nothing about putin
He knows that he's manly. Botox-injected people are always manly.
shucks
He can't be that bad of a president.
He can't be that bad of a president.
Or oil just can't cost lower then it did since 89?
Fucking A, they prevented the death of someone who is very manly and president-worthy.
Dear god.
Fucking A, they prevented the death of someone who is very manly and president-worthy.
Ha ha ha ha Dude, have you ever been to Russia? Because I spent my whole life in there and I can say that the both statements in your post are false
so i see we're over the whole putin = chuck norris thing? good no man deserves to die, but from what i see maybe it's time he at least got out of politics.
Assassination would almost certainly produce more problems than solutions.
so i see we're over the whole putin = chuck norris thing? good no man deserves to die, but from what i see maybe it's time he at least got out of politics.
That's what a lot of people believes. I can't say the majority, but rather large part, majority kind of doesn't give a flying fuck while they still have food and water. Problem is, Putin disagrees with us. Ru-net is in constant state of war between Government's Administration press-services, paid members of 'Ministry of Youth Policy' and active people, and that's important as all valuable information is there in the Net, TV is just propaganda. Protests, counter-protests, presidental campaign warms up, everyone who is opposed to Putin's government is labeled 'political prostitute' and 'western sympathizer, willing to destroy the motherland', and that's not even a joke. Smells bad.
It directly influences living quality though, soviet union at its best had great living quality which is why people liked it and miss it.
Yeah, when was it's best? When toilet paper appeared at some of the stores somewhat in the early 80s? Good times.
They just didn't want Putin to get his hands on the assassin himself.
Yeah, when was it's best? When toilet paper appeared at some of the stores somewhat in the early 80s? Good times.
Leaf's feel better on the ass.
If I were Putin I'd elect my fists as Intelligence Operatives too.
Leaf's feel better on the ass.
Yeah, and newspaper's pages. That smell of good ol' ink. But had to be careful not to whipe it out with Stalin's mustache or Khrushchev's face printed there!

Medvedev was just a facade for Putin anyway.
He exploits a loophole in which he and his friend constantly switch in and out of presidency and vice-presidency in order to stay in power. This thread currently = Bunch of AMMURICANS who support someone whos deeds they hardly know and haven't ever been to the said nation. The place is a trainwreck.Don't even get me fucking started on the Russians thoughts of the other "oppressing" nations they live in. Fucking sick.
People don't support Putin here. Offload your frustration to some actually proper target.

considering that it's looking like he's basically going to be president for another 12 years (this can be extrapolated simply from the fact that he's running in the election), an assassination attempt is kind of not surprising [editline]27th February 2012[/editline] plus the elections last year were pretty blatantly rigged
