Ok I have a 10,000 RPM 34.4gb C Drive for my Windows Operating System only.
Recently my free space went from 16gb to only 12gb
I highlighted everything in my C:, right clicked, went to properties and it said everything combined was only
18gb
So how come i only have 9gb
PS: I already tried disk cleanup, my appdata, and the system protection thing and cleaned it up
So can someone help me plz?
Here's a screenshot with all the information

WinDirStat will show you exactly what is eating your disk space. http://windirstat.info/

I dont really want to download any more stuff
Does it really matter?
Its less then a MB.
sequoia view also shows you your biggest files
Run CCleaner. It's only a couple megabytes, and will pay for itself in terms of storage space several times over on the first run. Also, open an administrator command prompt and run
fsutil usn deletejournal /n C:
It will delete the volume change journal, which isn't used by anything and just wastes space. That will help give you a few hundred MB or so back.

Also, you could try defragmenting, which can actually free disk space in certain situations.
Do you have fraps?
If so you could be making movies without knowing it because the Record button is the same as the default quicksave button in alot of games.
(Happend to me 80 gig of movies)

Don't post a help thread if you don't want help.
Definitely download ccleaner. and also, delete everything in the %temp% folder. just enter "%temp%" in run.
Also I use jkdiskreport. It scans your harddrive then you can see the top 50 largest files. If there are files that you didnt put there, but look like system files, take a screenshot and show us.

I had the same thing happen to me. Is your system restore on? Because if it is, it is taking up space to make backups of your pc.
Page file? System Restore points? Could be a few things, all of which you should probably leave alone.
