Lopez said Wal-Mart didn’t have the headphones in stock, so they ordered them online and had them delivered to the Marysville store. He wrapped the sealed box and put it under the tree. Lopez said he couldn’t wait for his daughter to open it. “I was upset,” Lopez said. “My daughter was crying … had tears in her eyes.”
Read more: http://q13fox.com/2013/12/25/family-opens-christmas-gift-expecting-headphones-gets-canned-tuna/#ixzz2oqvtFVsB Hey, I rather have that canned tuna!
beats are so overpriced.
I'd kinda like some sort of proof.
you might be able to tune headphones, but you can't tuna fish
Anybody can just toss some shit into an opened box and take a picture of it. [editline]29th December 2013[/editline] edit: fuck you hamster
I seriously doubt this.
Now I want some canned tuna.
beats are so overpriced.
Doesn't matter to the majority of the teen population, it's what everyone else has got, so it's pretty much required to have it to fit in with the popular crowd.
This is why you don't trust sellers online and if you do, only buy from trusted websites.
How fucking spoiled would you have to be to cry over beats? [editline]29th December 2013[/editline] Unless it's the sound quality.
How fucking spoiled would you have to be to cry over beats?
This year my cousin was in tears because he got a PS4 and not an Xbox One

about the same sound quality
Maybe someone did a return but filled the case with those cans to make the weight convincing? I remember someone posting about someone doing that in the "Everyday scams thread" a long time ago.
I see there's some tuna in oil as well, the bastards.
This year my cousin was in tears because he got a PS4 and not an Xbox One
I assume he was in tears because you punched him in the throat for his poor taste?
Maybe someone did a return but filled the case with those cans to make the weight convincing? Kinda weird if the returned item was sold as new though. Opened/used electronics aren't sold as new in Norway at least, they are thrown in their own bin and sold at a reduced price.
deserved it for buying fucking beats headphones
How fucking spoiled would you have to be to cry over beats?
Suburban teenagers.
I seriously doubt this.
People try shit like this all the time, it hardly ever actually gets through. When my mother used to work returns at walmart (this was in the late 90s.) Someone tried returning a SNES box that was full of pudding.
I seriously doubt this.
yeah man lets cause a HUGE news story over 100 dollars. if this guy is lying he's probably going to be in lawsuit hell for the next few years.
whoa, this is actually local in my area there's a really, really good chance this is a hoax on their end. people do this all the time around here, the gamestop I work at one of my managers once had one of his regulars try and return a Vita box that had a PSP in it.

At least the tuna has some real value.
I like my beats cooked
Nice pair of cans, though.
The cans probably have a better sound quality anyway.
-joke about sound quality-
The parents obviously did this on purpose so they can get compensation along with another pair of beats probably for one of their other children.
you might be able to tune headphones, but you can't tuna fish
Marry me you wordsmith :v: Is it at least premium tuna?
Should've bought beyerdynamic.
